Siquijor Island Loop — Complete DIY Scooter Route
🛵 Best done by scooter · 🕒 Full loop: ~3–4 hours driving · 🗺️ ~72km circumferential road
The Siquijor island loop is the classic way to explore the island — a full circuit of the circumferential road that takes you past beaches, waterfalls, historic landmarks, and local towns. Most travelers do it in one full day by scooter.
Recommended Loop Order (Clockwise from Siquijor Port)
- 🏖️ Paliton Beach — San Juan (~25 min from port)
- 🌊 Tubod Marine Sanctuary — San Juan (snorkeling)
- 🌊 Cambugahay Falls — Lazi (~35 min from San Juan)
- 🌳 Old Balete Tree — Lazi (fish spa)
- ⛪ Lazi Church & Convent — Lazi (heritage site)
- 🤿 Salagdoong Beach — Maria (cliff diving)
- 🏖️ Kagusuan Beach — Maria (secluded)
- 🌅 Sunset viewpoint — back toward Siquijor Port
Tips for the Loop
- Start early — leave by 7–8AM to beat the heat and crowds
- Bring cash — most stops charge small entrance fees (₱50–₱100)
- Fill up on fuel before leaving the port area
- Download offline maps — signal can be patchy on the east side
- Allow extra time at Cambugahay Falls and Salagdoong Beach
