Route Intelligence

Not sure where to start?

Three gateways reach Siquijor. One question usually settles it.

Most travelers should fly to Dumaguete

It has the shortest crossing, the most daily sailings and the smallest gap between landing and boarding. Choose another gateway only if one of the cases below is you.

⚠️ Worth knowing

  • Every gateway lands you on the same island. None of them is a wrong answer — they differ in how much of your day the journey takes.
  • Book the boat or the nonstop before your accommodation. Transport is the scarce piece, especially over Holy Week, summer and Christmas.
  • Schedules shift. Confirm with the operator the day before you travel.

💡 SiquiRide Rule of Thumb

If you are choosing purely on ease, fly to Dumaguete. If you are choosing on flight availability or you are arriving from abroad, come through Cebu. Pick Bohol when you actually want to see Bohol — not as a shortcut, because it is not one.

Some links are partner links. SiquiRide may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — we only recommend what we would use ourselves. Ferry times, fares and rates verified August 2026; always confirm with the operator before you travel.
