Cancellation Policy — Private Island Tours & Transportation Services
At SiquiRide, we recognize that travel plans may change due to illness, health-related circumstances, emergencies, or other events beyond a guest’s reasonable control. This Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy is intended to provide fair terms for our guests while protecting the local drivers, guides, and transportation providers who reserve their time and resources for each booking.
1. Private Island Tours
The following cancellation terms apply to private island tours:
- 14 or more days before the scheduled tour: 100% refund
- 7–13 days before the scheduled tour: 50% refund
- Less than 7 days before the scheduled tour: Non-refundable
- No-show: Non-refundable
Private tours require advance coordination with drivers, guides, and vehicle providers. Accordingly, cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled tour are generally non-refundable. However, guests who are unable to travel due to illness, injury, medical emergencies, bereavement, or another serious health-related or unforeseen circumstance may request to reschedule, subject to the terms set out in Section 3.
2. Transportation Services
The following cancellation terms apply to private transfers and other transportation services:
- 48 or more hours before the scheduled pickup: 100% refund
- 24–47 hours before the scheduled pickup: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup: Non-refundable
- No-show: Non-refundable
Transportation services are reserved for the specific date and time requested. Last-minute cancellations may prevent the driver from accepting another booking. Guests who need to modify or cancel a booking due to illness, injury, medical emergencies, bereavement, or another unforeseen circumstance beyond their reasonable control should contact SiquiRide as soon as possible.
3. Rebooking
Subject to availability, guests may request to reschedule their booking, including when the request is related to illness, injury, medical emergencies, bereavement, or another serious health-related or unforeseen circumstance.
- Rebooking requests made at least 7 days before the original tour date may be accommodated at no additional charge.
- Rebooking requests made within 7 days of the original tour date may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, particularly when supported by documentation of a health-related issue, emergency, or other circumstance beyond the guest’s reasonable control.
- Transportation rebooking requests should be submitted as early as possible and may be subject to the applicable cancellation period.
- Rebooking is subject to the availability of the driver, vehicle, guide, and requested schedule.
- A booking may generally be rescheduled once.
- Requests submitted within the applicable cancellation period may be treated as cancellations and may be subject to the corresponding refund policy.
Any difference in price resulting from a revised itinerary, additional services, or a different booking date may apply.
4. Weather, Safety & Force Majeure
If SiquiRide must cancel a service or is unable to provide it safely due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control—including typhoons, severe weather, heavy rain, flooding, earthquakes, volcanic activity, natural disasters, unsafe sea or road conditions, transportation disruptions, government restrictions, public-health emergencies, civil unrest, strikes, acts of terrorism, war, power or communication failures, or other force majeure events—we will offer either:
- A full refund or
- Free rebooking, subject to availability.
The final decision to suspend or cancel a service for safety reasons rests with SiquiRide and/or the relevant transportation or tour provider.
5. Changes to Your Booking
If you need to change your pickup time, itinerary, number of guests, or any other booking details, please contact SiquiRide as soon as possible. This includes requests to reschedule due to illness, injury, medical emergencies, bereavement, travel disruptions, or another circumstance beyond your reasonable control.
All changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges if they require additional transportation time, services, or modifications to the original arrangement.
6. How to Cancel
All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing through an official SiquiRide contact method, including email or the website contact form.
The effective cancellation or rescheduling date is based on the date and time SiquiRide receives the written request.
Verbal requests made directly to a driver or guide do not constitute an official cancellation or rescheduling request unless subsequently confirmed by SiquiRide.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
The time required for a refund to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider, bank, or payment processor and is outside SiquiRide's control.
Any payment-processing or transaction fees that are non-refundable to SiquiRide may be deducted from the refund, where applicable.
8. Important Note
By completing a booking with SiquiRide, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.
We recommend that guests obtain appropriate travel insurance to help protect against unexpected changes to their travel plans, including illness, injury, medical emergencies, travel disruptions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances.
